Bob Woellner, President
Bob specializes in indoor air quality, industrial hygiene, scientific and environmental investigative protocols, and environmental assessments. He has qualified as an industrial hygienist since 1990, is a full member of the American Industrial Hygiene Association and Rocky Mountain Section, is certified as a meth consultant and instructor by the Colorado Department of Public Health & Environment, is a residential measurement provider by the American Association of Radon Scientists and Technologists through their National Radon Proficiency Program, and has obtained his OSHA HAZWOPER certification. He lectures and publishes extensively, including his co-authored book International Environmental Risk Management: ISO 14000 and the Systems Approach. He has qualified and served in numerous jurisdictions as an expert in industrial hygiene, environmental monitoring, microflora/mold, meth, indoor air quality, environmental sampling, and risk management, for dozens of environmental contamination cases. Bob has a Bachelor’s degree in geology from Middlebury College and a Master of Science degree in Marine Geology and Geophysics from the Rosensteil School of Marine & Atmospheric Science.
Anatole “Tony” Konowal, Project Manager
Tony has a Bachelor of Science degree in Microbiology with Chemistry minor from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and a Master of Science degree in Environmental Sciences from the University of Colorado at Denver. Tony’s undergraduate course work and research focused on identification and pathogenicity of micro-organisms. While in graduate school, Tony gained specialized training in environmental and occupational health. Tony’s duties as Project Manager include conducting industrial hygiene and mold assessments, site investigations and development of recommended scopes of work, final clearance inspections, and litigation support services. In addition, Tony has experience conducting and writing Phase I environmental site assessments for real estate owners, buyers and sellers, law firms, and third party consultants. In 2012, Tony received his 40 hour HAZWOPER certification and is certified by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment to conduct meth assessments.
Beth Boatright, Technical Writer
Besides drafting and editing reports, Beth also conducts background research on a wide variety of topics to support QUEST’s investigative work. She earned a master’s degree in English from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and was a member of the International Doctoral Program in Foreign Languages and Literature at the National Sun Yat-Sen University in Taiwan.
